MUSTANG - M
Age: ~ 6 Months Old
Weight: 15 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Mustang! Surrendered to animal control and facing euthanasia, Mustang was given a second chance—and he's been galloping through life with his signature style ever since. A parvo survivor who nearly didn’t make it, Mustang’s adorable, hippity-hop gait is likely due to previously having distemper, impacting his neurological system. But don’t let that fool you—this resilient boy is unstoppable in spirit and charm!
Mustang may not be the fastest horse in the race, but this little guy is nothing short of spectacular! This playful, adventurous pup knows no limits. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to tag along as your constant companion, trotting right by your side, eager to share in every moment. Whether it's exploring the yard or just hanging out, Mustang is all about living life to the fullest.
Still working on his potty and crate training (hey, he’s a puppy after all!), Mustang is making great progress. He’ll need a family committed to helping him stay active with low-impact exercises like swimming, water treadmills, and stretches to keep him limber. This brave boy can handle stairs and loves to stay moving. While he loves treats, it’s important he keeps a slim figure to protect his hind legs.
Mustang is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on monthly preventatives. With his resilience, sweet nature, and that heart-melting hop, Mustang is ready to trot his way into your home and heart.

PRESLEY - M
Age: ~ 3.5 Months Old
Weight: 9.2 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Presley! Presley is a part of our ‘Porch Pirates’ litter. Rescue missions come in all forms, but this one was unlike any other. He and his littermates were scattered across a neighborhood—each puppy dropped on a different street, leaving them to fend for themselves.
It took the efforts of kind neighbors and our team to round them up one by one, ensuring they all made it to safety. Thankfully, these sweethearts are now safe and thriving thanks to the loving care of our amazing foster in TN, Pat Brewer, who welcomed them with open arms.
The Pirate Pups may be small in size, but they are big on love! At intake, they weighed just 3-4 lbs, and while they’re still under 10 lbs now, they’ve proven they have big personalities and hearts full of joy.
These happy-go-lucky puppies love nothing more than to play and cuddle. They’re great with children, making them wonderful companions for a family with kids. They’ve already learned how to use the dog door, but like all young pups, they’ll need continued support as they grow and learn.
Full of affection and fun, the Pirate Pups are ready to find their forever homes. They have all been microchipped and are up-to-date on their vaccines and monthly preventatives. Could one of these tiny treasures be the perfect fit for your family?

BOO - M
Age: ~ 3.5 Months Old
Weight: 10.4 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Boo! Boo’s journey started in a tough place, but he’s ready for a bright new chapter! Found living in awful conditions with his sister Pumpkin, Boo had to scrounge for food, barely surviving in a neglectful home where their mother was forced to have litter after litter. Their previous owners, consumed by addiction, didn’t care for their animals and tossed Pumpkin and Boo on the streets of the surrounding apartment complex where they had been living. Thankfully, kind neighbors noticed the pups' desperate situation and reached out for help, bringing Boo and his sister into the loving arms of our rescue.
Despite everything, Boo is an incredibly sweet pup. Though a little shy at first, he quickly warms up and will happily show off his playful, fun-loving side. With his beautiful brindle coat and smaller stature, Boo’s not only beautiful but also perfect for families looking for a loyal, cuddly companion. Boo has a wonderful little personality, and we know he will continue to grow into a confident and affectionate dog with the right family by his side.
Boo has been microchipped and is up-to-date on his vaccines and monthly preventatives. He is eagerly waiting to meet the person or family who will help him leave her past behind and step into a future filled with love and happiness. Will Boo be the newest member of your family?

HUCK - NM
Age: ~ 1 - 2 Years Old
Weight: 39 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Huck! This sweet boy has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure, but despite his rough past, Huck’s heart is full of love and he's ready to find his forever home. Rescued from a terrible hoarding situation where he was chained outside without shelter, Huck is now experiencing kindness and care for the first time, and he’s eager to share that love with the right family.
Huck is a shy soul at first, but once he bonds with his people, he’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. He just needs time to settle into his new environment. He’s learning to trust, and while he may take a little while to warm up, the love and companionship he offers in return are well worth it.
Huck already knows several commands and is highly trainable. He pulls a bit on the leash when he gets excited but has been working on his manners, but he already knows commands like "sit" and "down," and he loves to play puzzle games. His foster has been amazed by his intelligence and eagerness to learn!
Though Huck enjoys running around and burning off energy, he also knows how to settle down and relax inside the house. He’s a bit of an explorer and climber, so keeping an eye on him while he adjusts will be important.
Huck is also discovering the joy of toys and is starting to understand what playtime is all about. He takes a bit of time to build trust, but with patience, he blossoms into a loving, playful companion. He’s been taken on outings to help with socialization, and he’s enjoyed going on car rides. Huck is mostly potty trained and learned how to use a doggy door while in foster.
Huck is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on his vaccines, and current on monthly preventatives. If you're looking for a loyal, smart, and loving companion who just needs a little time and understanding, Huck is the one for you. Could you be the home he’s been dreaming of?

OAKLYN - F
Age: ~ 14 Weeks Old
Weight: 16 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Oaklyn! Oaklyn was rescued from a situation that got a little out of hand. Our rescue affiliates in TN, BarkPlace4Dogs, answered a plea for help from a kind person who wound up with nine puppies from three different litters that came from a hoarding situation. With three different mama dogs, each litter is about a week apart in age, but you'd never know it.
Together this group acts like one big, happy crew of crazy, carefree pups who love nothing more than running, playing, and tumbling over each other. These wild and wonderful pups are a bundle of energy and joy, and they're looking for families ready to take on the fun (and the work!) of raising a puppy. As a group, they’re a whirlwind of excitement, but when you spend one-on-one time with them, they each settle down and melt into lovebugs, ready for snuggles and affection.
Though they may seem like a handful now, with the right hands-on attention and training, they will grow into the best family companions. Each of these pups will thrive with patience, structure, and plenty of positive reinforcement.
These pups are up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, are microchipped, and ready to meet their forever families! Will you be the one to give them the love and attention they need to become their best selves?

Though they may seem like a handful now, with the right hands-on attention and training, they will grow into the best family companions. Each of these pups will thrive with patience, structure, and plenty of positive reinforcement.
These pups are up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, are microchipped, and ready to meet their forever families! Will you be the one to give them the love and attention they need to become their best selves?
OPIE - M
Age: ~ 14 Weeks Old
Weight: 18.8 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Opie! Opie was rescued from a situation that got a little out of hand.
ZIGGY - NM
Age: ~ 2 - 4 Years Old
Weight: 65 lbs
Breed: Pyr Mix
Meet Ziggy! Ziggy is an incredibly sweet Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his fluffy exterior. Sadly, Ziggy was abandoned by his previous owners when they moved away, leaving him to fend for himself. In a testament to his loyalty and gentle nature, Ziggy wandered over to the neighbor’s porch, where he patiently waited until someone noticed him and called for help.
This lovable goofball adores giving hugs and has a playful spirit that will brighten any home. Ziggy has mastered the art of fetch—he’s got the chase and drop down perfectly, and his enthusiasm for playtime is contagious. While in foster care, Ziggy has shown that he gets along well with other dogs, though we suspect he may prefer being the only dog in the home. But more time and a proper meet-and-greet will help determine the best fit for him.
Ziggy is a true family dog, and he absolutely adores kids. He knows commands like “sit” and “give me five,” and he’s comfortable in a crate when needed. He also had no accidents while staying with his foster over the weekend, though, like any dog, he’ll need a little time to adjust to his new routine in a forever home. Ziggy’s exposure to cats is limited—he didn’t show interest in chasing the clinic cats, but further testing is recommended.
Ziggy's story is one of resilience and sweetness. After all he's been through, he’s ready to settle into a loving home where he can return all the affection he’s been waiting to give. Ziggy is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on monthly preventatives. If you're looking for a gentle, goofy companion with lots of love to give, Ziggy is your guy!

WARRIOR - NM
Age: ~ 6+ Years Old
Weight: 78 lbs
Breed: Doberman
Meet Warrior! True to his name, Warrior has been a fighter his entire life. Rescued after being cruelly dumped, he made his way to a loving foster home, where he’s been healing and receiving the kindness and care he deserved all along.
Upon rescue, he was found to be heartworm positive. Warrior was likely used as a stud for a backyard breeder, and when he was no longer "useful," he was discarded. After several months of treatment, this brave boy is now a heartworm survivor! Warrior is now very ready to live out his golden years in a home full of love, with someone lucky enough to call him family.
This stunning Doberman is a true powerhouse—strong, sleek, and commanding. While his chiseled looks might seem intimidating, don’t be fooled: Warrior is one of the kindest, most loyal, and affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet.
Warrior loves his toys and even gathers them into one spot when playtime is over. He has a natural curiosity for small critters and a keen sense of being a "watchdog." He already knows some basic commands, and with his intelligence and eagerness to please, he’s highly trainable. Prior breed experience would be a plus, as Dobermans thrive on mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy.
Due to his size and the fact that he’s entering his senior years, Warrior would do best in a home with older kids. He has gotten along well with other dogs and has lived with cats, making him a well-rounded family member. He seems to be mostly housebroken and doesn’t need to be crated; a cozy bed beside you would suit him just fine.
Warrior is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on monthly preventatives. He’s ready to be the most loyal and affectionate companion you could ever wish for. If Warrior sounds like the perfect match for your family, give him the forever home he truly deserves!

JEMMA - SF
Age: ~ 8 Months - 1 Year Old
Weight: 38 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Jemma! Jemma was brought to animal control as a stray. She escaped a dire fate and now she’s well on her way to the life she’s always dreamed of.
This clever girl has already learned some impressive commands, including “sit,” “down,” and “touch,” and she loves playing puzzle games that challenge her. She was built to sprint and she would make a fantastic running buddy. Or if you're looking for a potential agility star, Jemma's potential is boundless! She absolutely adores playing fetch–whether it’s with a ball or a frisbee. After she’s had her fill of playtime, she settles in nicely for some downtime.
Jemma is a stunning girl who is great with kids (she has been exposed to children aged 8-10) and does wonderfully with all of her canine pals. She’s also been previously cat-tested and did well, though she does show some interest in them, so a second test might be a good idea just to be sure.
This agile girl is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has even mastered using a doggy door. She’s spent lots of time riding in the car while in foster and enjoyed every minute of her adventures on the road. Overall, Jemma is a lovable and affectionate dog who just wants to be close to her people. For that reason, Jemma does need a watchful eye when she's outside—she's got serious hops and can easily jump a fence just to be with you!
Jemma is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and current on monthly preventatives. With her smarts, sweet disposition, and incredible energy, she’ll thrive in a home that can give her the attention and love she deserves.

TIMMY - NM
Age: ~ 5 - 6 Months Old
Weight: 35 lbs
Breed: Rescued
Meet Timmy! Timmy and his sister Tessie were found with their momma as strays. Tessie has found a home of her own but now Timmy is very ready to be loved on by a forever family that realizes how precious he truly is.
We believe Timmy is a shepherd mix. His coloration is just gorgeous–he’s a stunning boy who has to be witnessed in person. Timmy is incredibly affectionate and a total dufus. When you meet him, you can't NOT love him. He is super friendly with everyone he meets. He's done fine with the cats at our shelter, but they seem VERY intriguing to him so proper boundaries will be important if there is a feline in the home.
Timmy loves to stick right under you, often cozying up between your legs, seeking comfort and connection. Friendly, curious, and very intelligent, Timmy is eager to learn and please his humans. He’s making great strides with crate training and is still mastering his potty training.
We expect Timmy to be a big boy (75-80+) when fully grown. This sweet boy will do best in a home that understands his need for a little extra patience as he continues to grow into his confidence.
He’s neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccines and preventatives. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who’ll always want to be by your side, Timmy is ready to be your perfect pup!

**PENDING ADOPTION** HAZEL - F
Age: 2+ Years Old
Weight: 30 lbs
Breed: Beagle/Spaniel Mix
Meet Hazel! She’s one of the brave survivors from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Rutland, VT, where 30 dogs were found living in terrible conditions. The house was so neglected that its floor collapsed, and sadly, not all the dogs made it out alive. Despite the trauma, Hazel’s spirit is still shining through. Her tail is still wagging, and she’s learning to trust again.
Hazel and the other dogs were so malnourished and infested with fleas, which caused some fur loss. With medicated baths, Hazel is slowly growing her fur back and it will continue to come in over time. Hazel has suffered from being overbred, living in a home with dogs who had not been fixed.
Due to her past, Hazel is a bit timid around people but quickly warms up and melts into your hands with affection. She’ll thrive in a quiet, patient home outside of the city that can help her adjust to the love and kindness she deserves. Hazel seems unphased by the cats at our shelter. We think Hazel’s perfect home would be with one person that she can completely latch onto. She will also need a calm household and one without young children as she is a bit of a nervous girl.
Hazel has done well with other dogs, even in a home setting, but she does thrive on having your attention. This girl definitely deserves to be spoiled with affection considering everything she has been through. Hazel has been enjoying her walks around the property, but she will need continued support with potty, crate and basic training as she has never had the opportunity to have a guide in her life.
Hazel is up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. With a little TLC, she’s sure to become a wonderful family companion! If you can find it in your heart to give Hazel a fresh start, she’ll be waiting for you.
