KODY - NM
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: ~ 50 lbs
BREED: Zoomie Rocket Hound
Meet Kody! Built for speed, powered by joy, and fueled entirely by “what are we doing next?!” energy… that’s Kody in a nutshell. His story is one we wish we didn’t see so often. He came home as a tiny, adorable puppy, but once the “cute phase” faded and adolescence kicked in, he was no longer the easy, fun addition his family expected. No longer wanted, Kody was heartbreakingly dumped near a rural neighborhood. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in to keep him safe until he could make his way into rescue.
Kody is a young, athletic boy just stepping out of puppyhood and fully embracing his “let’s go, let’s do something, let’s LIVE” era. He’s bouncy, playful, and always down for whatever adventure you’re offering. Whether it’s hikes, runs, playtime, training sessions… you name it, he’s in. He’s the kind of dog who wakes up excited about life and wants you to be just as excited with him.
He’s great with other dogs, but he plays hard and doesn’t always read the room (or the dog 😅), so he’ll do best with a well-matched companion who can handle his enthusiasm. Currently, cats are unknown but we can imagine him being just as playful and potentially deserving of a few swats on the nose to show him what’s what.
Kody is, quite honestly, a lovable doofus. He means well in everything he does, he just hasn’t quite figured out how to do it yet. He hasn’t had much formal training, but he’s smart, eager, and full of potential. With structure, consistency, and someone willing to guide him, Kody is the kind of dog who could absolutely thrive.
He’ll do best with an active family or individual who understands that a dog like Kody needs both physical and mental outlets to truly shine. Give him that, and you’ll have a loyal, hilarious, adventure-loving companion for life.
Kody has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Kody may not have gotten the start he deserved, but his future? It’s wide open. Now he’s just waiting for someone to choose him.

SASHA - SF
AGE: ~ 2 Years Old
WEIGHT: ~ 40 lbs
BREED: Honey-Eyed Shepherd Sprout
Meet Sasha! Sasha is one of those dogs who quietly works her way into your heart before you even realize it. With her warm honey-colored eyes and soft, thoughtful expression, she has a way of making you feel like she already knows you…and already loves you.
Sasha was adopted from a rural shelter in TN, but heartbreakingly found herself back there after the other dog in the home attacked her. Because of that, Sasha can be a little unsure around larger dogs at first. With slow, thoughtful introductions she’s done just fine, but more than anything, she’s looking for a home that understands her need to feel safe and supported.
And when she does feel safe? That’s when her personality shines.
Sasha has a playful, slightly “bullish” energy when she’s comfortable She loves to romp around with her buddy Kody (even if she sometimes seems to think he’s a bit of an annoying little brother 😅). She can be a little vocal during play, but it’s all part of her quirky, silly charm. At her core, she is incredibly loving, eager to please, and happiest when she’s close to her people.
She does wonderfully with cats and has been great with children, though we think she would thrive most in a quieter, moderately active home where she can relax, decompress, and truly be herself. She would love to join her family on walks, hikes, and everyday adventures. Then she would love to come home and settle in right beside you.
Sasha is fully potty trained and comfortable in her crate, which she sees as her own cozy, safe little space. She’s been through more than her fair share, but her heart has stayed soft. All she needs now is a patient home that will give her the time, understanding, and security she deserves.
Sasha has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations and monthly preventatives. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with the sweetest soul… Sasha is waiting for you.

MANGO - SF
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: ~ 20 lbs
BREED: Certified Rugrat Terrier Deluxe
Meet Mango! Mango is the kind of dog who doesn’t just enter your life, she bursts into it. Found as an unclaimed stray, Mango clearly decided early on that she was going to take whatever life handed her and turn it into a full-blown adventure.
She may be small in size, but she’s got a massive personality with a touch of healthy chaos. She’s got that classic “tiny dog, big opinions” energy. She’s spunky, bold, endlessly entertaining, and just the right amount of mischievous.
Mango is high energy and always on the move. If there’s something to chase, explore, or investigate, she’s on it. She would absolutely thrive in an active home that’s ready to embrace things like walks, playtime, and outings. And when the day is done? She’s more than happy to curl up and claim her spot as your personal snuggle bug.
She does have a bit of a “choose your friends wisely” approach when it comes to other dogs. While she previously had a buddy (shoutout to her girl Margo adopted back in February), Mango would likely do best as the only dog in the home or with a very well-matched companion after a proper meet and greet. She knows what she likes and honestly, we respect that.
What really makes Mango special is her personality. She’s funny without trying, affectionate without being clingy, and has that perfect mix of independence and “I need to be exactly where you are at all times.” She keeps you laughing, keeps you moving, and keeps your heart very full.
Mango is the perfect match for someone looking for a smaller dog with a big presence.
Mango has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations and monthly preventatives. If you’re ready for a dog who will keep life interesting in all the best ways and make every day more fun… Mango is ready for you.

REBA - SF
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: ~ 40 - 50 lbs
BREED: Copper Trailhound Mix
Meet Reba! Reba is the kind of dog who looks at you like she’s already decided you’re her person. Found as an unclaimed stray alongside her sister, Reba didn’t get the easiest start, but you’d never know it from how deeply she loves. She’s a soft, affectionate girl who leans into her people, soaking up pets like she’s been waiting her whole life for them. There’s a gentleness to her, a sweetness that feels constant and steady.
With her long legs, soft eyes, and a heart that sticks close, Reba tends to look to you for reassurance. She’s a bit more sensitive and thrives when she feels safe and connected. Once she settles in, she’s the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room, always wanting to be near.
She enjoys a good, rowdy wrestle session with her buds and could do with another well-matched K9. She has not lived in a home with children so older, dog-savvy kids are recommended. She has not been cat tested.
Reba has that classic hound/working dog energy. She loves to move and explore so a home with space to roam and an active lifestyle would suit her best. She can be a little vocal (she has things to say, okay 😌), and will need both physical exercise and mental enrichment to keep her happy and balanced. She hasn’t had much structure of consistency in her life, so a patient place who will work with her at her pace would be most ideal to help her flourish.
Reba has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations and monthly preventatives. She’s the perfect match for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a little bit of sensitivity and a whole lot of love. If you want a dog who will choose you right back… Reba is your girl.

NORMA - SF
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: ~ 40 - 50 lbs
BREED: Brindle Bayou Mix
Meet Norma! Norma is one of those dogs who shows you her personality in layers, and with every layer there is something more to love. Found as an unclaimed stray alongside her sister, Norma didn’t have the easiest start, but she’s taken everything in stride. At first glance, she’s playful, bouncy, and full of that “let’s go, let’s do something!” energy. With her sister Reba, she can absolutely be a bit of a wild child, diving into play with enthusiasm and a whole lot of personality.
But underneath that playful energy is a softer side. Norma is a submissive, sweet-natured girl who really just wants to feel safe and understood. She takes cues from the dogs and people around her and does best when she knows everything is okay. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side comes through and she loves being close to her people, soaking up attention, and settling in after a good play session.
Norma is that perfect mix of playful and tender. She’s goofy when she’s comfortable, but deeply sweet at her core. She does wonderfully with other dogs and would likely thrive with a confident but kind companion who can match her play style. She would also likely do well with dog-savvy kids who understand her gentle nature.
Like many houndy girls, Norma enjoys having space to roam, explore, and use her nose. She’ll do best in an active home that can give her both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Norma hasn’t had much structure of consistency in her life, so a patient place who will work with her at her pace would be most ideal to help her flourish.

She’s goofy when she’s comfortable, but deeply sweet at her core. If you’re looking for a dog who will play hard, love softly, and grow right alongside you… Norma is your girl.

MAMA ROADIE - SF
AGE: ~ 2 Years Old
WEIGHT: 43 lbs
BREED: Half-Moon Heart Wayfinder
Meet Mama Roadie! Before Roadie was ever safe, she was surviving. After being dumped, Roadie survived on her own in the woods next to the very highway where she was left. It was as if she was still waiting for someone who was never coming back. She faced cold nights, hunger, and fear most of us can’t imagine. No one knows how long she was out there, we only know that she refused to give up.
In January 2025, she was spotted crossing a busy highway. That’s when Bill, a kind samaritan, found her. From then on, Bill showed up for Roadie every single day. Through the snow, cold, and rough terrain, Bill brought Roadie food and quiet kindness. He didn’t rush her or expect anything from her. Slowly, Roadie began to trust. She started waiting for him, not just for food, but for the comfort of knowing she wasn’t alone anymore.
By March, it was clear she was pregnant. With limited resources, Bill did everything he could, even hauling a dog house into the woods so she would have some kind of shelter. While Roadie and Bill had been building a relationship, she was still too nervous to fully let her guard down and let him bring her to safety. She gave birth to nine tiny puppies out in the wild and kept them alive through nothing but her determination and love.
Weeks later, those puppies were found and brought to safety. They all healed, grew strong, and one by one, found their forever homes last summer (The River Pups - Thames, Kennebec, Little River) . But Roadie was still out there. With patience and careful planning, rescuers were able to bring her in, and for the first time in a long time, she was truly safe.
That’s when everything began to change. Roadie started to learn what it meant to belong. She settled beautifully into foster life where there were soft beds, kind hearts, and gentle hands. She lived peacefully with dogs and especially loving cats, often choosing their company above all else. Often you could find Roadie snuggled beside her kitties, each creature finding comfort with one another.
Roadie has come so far. She is gentle, affectionate, and quietly devoted. She’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply and loves fully when you’ve given her the chance to finally settle in. She is house trained, crate trained, and continues to build confidence every day. She enjoys walks and being outdoors, and would do wonderfully with an active family, but she’s just as content curling up beside you at home. She’s made great progress with car rides and is learning that new experiences can be safe, too.
She has met children of all ages and has been nothing but sweet, though very young children can feel a bit overwhelming for her. Because of this, we think she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who can help her continue to feel secure. What makes Roadie so special isn’t just what she’s been through, it’s who she chose to be in spite of it. She is not hardened or shut down. She is soft, loving, and full of quiet hope.
Roadie has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Roadie’s story is one of survival, but more than that, it’s a story of trust, resilience, and the kind of love that grows when someone finally feels safe. Now, she’s ready for her final chapter. A home where she will never have to survive again. A home where she can simply live, love, and be loved in return. If there was ever a dog who deserves that kind of ending… it’s Roadie.

BRAVO - NM
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: ~ 80 lbs
BREED: Caramel Soulhound Retriever
Meet Bravo! Bravo’s story didn’t start the way it should have. He came from a deeply neglectful situation where he and six other puppies were left to fend for themselves. Simply existing was enough to put them in danger when their owner threatened to shoot them. When one of his siblings was hit by a car and left without care, it became clear these dogs needed saving.
Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor stepped in and gave them that chance. While she loved them deeply, caring for seven dogs alongside her own was more than one person could sustainably manage, and that’s how Bravo made his way to us. Now he’s ready for a life that finally matches the dog he is.
And what a dog he is. Bravo is one of those quiet, soulful boys who doesn’t need to demand attention, but you just find yourself drawn to him. There’s a softness in his eyes, like he’s taking everything in, learning, hoping. He’s incredibly sweet, gentle in nature, and has a calm, steady presence that makes you feel like he’s been yours forever.
He’s been working hard on the basics and already knows how to sit, lay down, touch, and is building up his “stay.” He’s learning boundaries (running through doors can be very exciting!) and he’s making great progress with “leave it.” He rides beautifully in the car and would love to be your co-pilot on any and all adventures.
Bravo does well with other dogs and cats, and we think he’d fit nicely into a home with either. He would also be just as happy soaking up love as your one and only. He’s moderately active, happy to play, but equally content to just be near his people.
Because he spent much of his early life outdoors, home life may be a bit new to him, but he’s already shown he’s capable of adjusting. He will need a patient, understanding family to help him continue building confidence and routine. He has had some crate experience and is still learning, and he’ll let you know when he needs to head outside.
Bravo is ready for someone willing to meet him where he is and show him what love and consistency look like. He’s already come so far. Now he’s just waiting for someone to show him what “home” really means.
Bravo has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. If you’ve been looking for a loyal, gentle companion with the sweetest soul… Bravo is ready for you.

ELLERY - F
DOB: 1/13/2026
WEIGHT: ~ 10 - 20 lbs
BREED: Brindle Bayou Blue-Eyed Bandit Mix
Meet Ellie’s pups! This squad of 9 was taken in by our rescue after a family going through a divorce could no longer care for them. They’ve been in our care since the day after they were born. Ellie and her babies came from the same place as recently adopted Waylon, Tiny, Jingles and Coco. Ellie is still recovering from pregnancy and her spay and will eventually be on her way to a better life as well.
Each of these pups is bursting with personality, and no two are quite the same. Emma, the tiniest of the bunch, may be small but she makes up for it with plenty of sass. Being the tiniest baby of the group, she’s also learned how to work her charm and get a little spoiled along the way.
With their beautiful brindle coats, soulful eyes (including a few striking blue ones), and expressive little faces, we suspect there’s some hound in the mix… maybe a sprinkle of husky or Australian shepherd. Truthfully, your guess is as good as ours, but whatever they are, they’re 100% adorable.
These pups are everything puppies should be: playful, curious, vocal, and full of life. They love being with their people, love to “chat,” and are always ready to tumble into their next adventure. With that comes the responsibility of raising a puppy. That means structure, consistency, patience, and training will be key to helping them grow into the wonderful dogs they’re meant to be.
They are right in the prime of their socialization window, which means now is the time to introduce them to the world in positive, confidence-building ways. The effort you put in now will shape the rest of their lives.
They’ve all been microchipped and are up-to-date with their age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. If you’re ready for puppy kisses, playful chaos, and a lifetime of love… one of Ellie’s pups might just be your perfect match.

Meet the Grizzy pups! These eight babies have a story that could have ended very differently, but because of one incredible mama, they’re here today, safe and thriving. Born underneath a porch in the dead of winter, their start in life was anything but easy. Their owner had not spayed their dog, and when the puppies arrived, they couldn’t be brought safely inside due to other dogs in the home. Instead, a small nest of straw and a heat lamp was set up beneath the porch to keep them warm. But straw and heat don’t mix…and the setup caught fire.
As smoke began to rise, their mama did something truly heroic. One by one, she carried each of her babies out of the smoldering nest to safety. The last puppy suffered some burns to their paws, whiskers, and nose, but because of her, every single one made it out. And today… you would never know what they’ve been through.
These pups are happy, healed, chunky little lovebugs with short snouts made for endless smooches. A mix of adorable brindles and classic black-and-white “moo cow” coats, they are everything you’d expect from puppies. They are playful, snuggly, curious, and full of life. They love being close to their people and are always ready to tumble into their next adventure.
Of course, with all that cuteness comes great responsibility. These babies are still in their critical socialization window, which means they will need patience, structure, and plenty of positive experiences to help shape them into confident, well-rounded dogs. Training should begin early, and the time you invest in them now will make all the difference in who they become.
They’ve all been microchipped and are up-to-date with their age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. After everything they’ve been through, their resilience is nothing short of incredible. If you’re ready for wagging tails, silly antics, and endless love, apply for one of our ‘G’ pups!

WESTON - M
DOB: 12/26/2025
WEIGHT: ~ 18 - 25 lbs
BREED: Brindle Bloom Hound Mix
Meet the Wildflower Pups! These beauties are a little wild, a little wonderful, and just waiting to flourish. Like their name suggests, the Wildflower pups didn’t start life in a perfectly tended garden. Born as an unexpected litter, they were lovingly cared for by their mama, but they missed out on those early weeks of human interaction that help puppies feel confident in the world. Because of that, these sweet babies are a bit shy and still learning that people can be kind, safe, and theirs.
Wilma and Wren have so far shown to be the most outgoing of the group. They’re always ready to greet you with enthusiastic, jumpy excitement and a “pick me!” kind of energy. The rest of their siblings are taking things a little slower, each one gently finding their footing and beginning to peek out of their shells in their own time.
New environments and experiences can feel overwhelming for them right now, but with patience, consistency, and a gentle hand, we are already seeing their personalities start to shine. They are playful, curious, and incredibly sweet once they feel comfortable. They are simply waiting for someone to help them grow into their confidence.
They do well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion to help show them the ropes. While they haven’t been formally tested with cats, we expect they would do well with proper introductions. Because of their sensitive nature, homes with older, dog-savvy children would be the best fit for most of this crew.
These pups will need dedicated families who understand that building confidence takes time. Training, structure, and continued socialization will be key in helping them thrive. But for those willing to put in the love and patience, the reward will be something truly special. Just like wildflowers, they may take a little time to bloom, but when they do, they are resilient, unique, and incredibly beautiful in their own way.
They’ve all been microchipped and are up-to-date with their age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Give one of these pups the chance to grow in a loving home, and watch them blossom into the devoted companions they’re meant to be.
