Meet Jolene! Jolene is part of a special trio of girls who are getting a second chance after life threw their world off course. When a kind person inherited their aunt’s home and dogs, they did everything they could, but ultimately couldn’t keep them. Now Jolene and her sisters are on their way to brighter days, and ready to make the most of it.
If you’re looking for personality, Jolene’s your girl. This little fruit bat lookalike is the certified mischief maker of the group. She has a knack for snagging one of your belongings and parading around the yard like she just won a prize, daring you to chase her (and honestly…you probably will). Underneath the antics, though, is a deeply affectionate pup who absolutely adores her people once she feels safe.
Jolene thrives with other dogs and we feel strongly about her having another playful canine companion in the home to help her follow their lead. Jolene has also shown us that she has an affinity for cats and would love one in her future home. Because of how shy she is, we do not think she is a good fit for families with young children.
She and her sisters share everything. From food, toys, and joy, this beautiful soul will fit right into a home that embraces a rescue who is ready for a fresh start and a lot of love. She’s been making strides when it comes to leash walking, crate training, and overall manners, but she’s smart and eager to engage.
She may need a little time to warm up, but once she does, get ready, Jolene will shower you in kisses and keep you laughing every single day. Jolene has been spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Jolene’s ready to be bolder, a little sillier, and a whole lot of fun right by your side.
