DUSTIN - NM
Age: ~ 1 Year Old
Weight: 39 lbs
Breed: Merle Mix
Meet Dustin! Dustin’s life hasn’t been an easy one. He was surrendered to Animal Control after spending his entire life outdoors, and when his owner could no longer afford to care for him, his future became heartbreakingly uncertain. He was facing euthanasia until rescue stepped in.
You can see in Dustin that kindness wasn’t something he knew much of. He arrived in rescue very thin and understandably terrified, with a nervous system that’s still learning the world doesn’t have to be so scary. Right now, even the smallest of everyday things can make him jump. But beneath that fear is a truly beautiful soul.
Once Dustin warms up and learns you mean him no harm his personality begins to shine. He becomes playful, affectionate, and generous with kisses, showing just how much love he has been holding onto. He is learning, slowly and bravely, what it means to trust.
Dustin will need a patient, understanding home outside of the city, where life moves a little more quietly and he’s given the time and space to blossom at his own pace. A secure fenced yard would be ideal, though he is making progress learning to feel comfortable on a leash.
Because of his fear and energy level, Dustin is not suited for a home with young children. He has done well with some other dogs and may prefer a female canine companion, though thoughtful introductions during the meet and greet process will be important. He has not been cat tested yet.
As Dustin settles, it’s clear he’s going to be a very active boy who will thrive with structure, outlets for his energy, and a “job” to help him feel confident and fulfilled. With the right family…one willing to move slowly, celebrate small wins, and offer steady reassurance…Dustin has the potential to become an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
Dustin has been neutered, microchipped and is up-to-date on his vaccines and monthly preventatives. Dustin is a reminder that sometimes the most special dogs are the ones who just need someone to believe in them.

KRISTA - SF
Age: ~ 1 Year Old
Weight: 33 lbs
Breed: Limited-Edition Oreo Mix
Meet Krista! This gorgeous bundle of youthful enthusiasm is ready to find her people after attempted of being surrendered to the humane society in TN. When they were full, Krista fortunately found her way to us and we’re determined to make sure her next stop is her forever home.
Krista is very much a busy puppy in the best way. She’s curious, playful, and full of life, with that irresistible “ready for anything” energy. She’s done well with other dogs and could enjoy having a canine buddy to help burn off some steam. She hasn’t been cat tested yet, but we’re happy to do so if interested adopted
She is crate trained and is still polishing her house manners, but she’s smart and eager. We have no doubt that Krista will pick things up quickly with consistency and structure. Krista has not yet met children, so we feel older, dog-savvy kids would be the best fit, especially given her puppy energy. That said, she has a very friendly, social disposition and clearly loves being around her people.
We believe Krista is fully grown, making her an awesome medium-sized companion. That means she’s big enough for adventures, and small enough to fit comfortably into everyday life.
Krista is ready for training, routine, and a family who’s excited to help her grow into the incredible dog she’s clearly meant to be.
Krista has been spayed, microchipped and is up-to-date on her vaccines and monthly preventatives. If you’re ready for a full pint of this Oreo swirl, Krystal is ready to be scooped up.

DUSTY - NM
Age: 10+ Years Old
Weight: 14 lbs
Breed: Mini Sasshound
Meet the Chi-Chi Variety Pack! These six tiny legends were pulled from a hoarding situation where one woman had 13 chihuahuas. Yes… thirteen. These six have survived, stayed spicy, and are now ready to audition for their forever couches. Their exact ages are still currently unknown, but it’s safe to say some of them are clearly older and proudly missing a few teeth as proof. Think less “puppy energy” and more early-bird dinner reservations and strong opinions about bedtime.
They had never been away from their mama until now and were understandably terrified when they first arrived in rescue. With time, patience, and tender love, they’ve begun to blossom into tiny weirdos with opinions and plenty of personality to go around. One thing is certain: all that character comes wrapped in bodies small enough to carry under one arm.
These Chi-Chis are pee pad trained, low-key, and powered almost entirely by naps, side-eye, and attitude. Chihuahuas can be a tough breed, so they are not recommended for first-time dog owners. These cuties aren’t just dogs, they’re a lifestyle choice. That said, in the right patient, dog-savvy hands, these little characters will make extraordinarily sweet, loyal companions who bond deeply with their people.
And even if they did attempt to bite, with few to no teeth it’s mostly the audacity that stings more than anything else. These boys have yet to learn how to walk on a leash, so there will be a learning curve. However, if you become equipped with snacks, we’re fairly confident they won’t wander far.
If you’re looking for a small dog with a little spice, a lot of character, and a face only a true dog person could love, one of these Chi-Chis might just be your perfect match.

MURPHY - M
DOB: 10/8/2025
Weight: 11 lbs
Breed: Wrinkle Muffin Mix
Meet the Smooshie Plushie Posse! These four oh-so-adorable, squishy little plushie puppies are officially on the lookout for their forever homes. And trust us because it is physically impossible not to fall in love. This sweet litter came into rescue after police were called when they were spotted faithfully following their mama down the road, sticking together just like the tiny, loyal crew they are.
All four have those irresistible triangle ears that practically scream Shar Pei charm. They boys, Mikey and Murphy, are basically little chocolate muffins with wrinkles for days. Soft, squishy, and endlessly kissable, they’re the kind of puppies you scoop up and never want to put down. The girls, Mabel and Mildred, bring their own special magic and honestly, their faces should come with a warning label.
They’ve grown up together and play beautifully as a group, keeping each other entertained with classic puppy antics. They’re full of typical puppy energy, but still have that magical puppy breath so even the occasional chewing on your favorite possessions somehow feels forgivable. They’re just getting started with crate training and, like all babies, will need continued training, structure, and guidance as they grow into the amazing dogs we know they’ll be.
This beautiful group of pudgy patooties is microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. If you’re ready for wrinkles, cuddles, zoomies, and a lifetime of love, one of these smooshie little souls might just be your perfect match.
