JOJO - M
AGE: ~ 5 Months Old
WEIGHT: 25 lbs
BREED: Midnight Radar-Eared Adventure Mix
Meet Jojo! Some dogs don’t get a second chance, but Jojo did. Brought into a clinic as a tiny puppy fighting parvo and never claimed, Jojo could have easily been forgotten, but instead, he fought. And now? You’d never guess this happy, bouncy, full-of-life pup was once so sick. Jojo is the kind of dog who wakes up every day like it’s a gift because to him, it is.
Jojo is pure joy in motion. Energetic, playful, and always ready for the next adventure, he’s the kind of dog who will keep you moving, laughing, and living life a little more fully. Hikes, long walks, backyard zoomies, this little dude is all in. He’s fantastic with other dogs, likely great with kids, and while he hasn’t been cat tested, his friendly nature shines through in everything he does.
He’s still just getting started when it comes to training, so Jojo will need a family ready to put in the time, structure, and consistency to help him grow into his best self. But if there’s one thing Jojo has already proven, it’s that he shows up. He tries. And he gives everything he’s got.
He’s affectionate, wiggly, and so unbelievably happy to be here.
Jojo has been microchipped and is up-to-date with his age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. He didn’t just survive…he’s ready to live. And he’s hoping to find someone who’s ready to do that right alongside him.

CHEWIE - NM
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: 72 lbs
BREED: Honey-Dipped Dorito-Eared Shepherd Mix
CHEWIE’S MUSTS: Suburban home, no young children, a gentle loving family.
Meet Chewie! Chewie’s story didn’t begin the way it should have. He came from a deeply neglectful situation, one where he and six other puppies were left to fend for themselves. Simply existing put them at risk when their owner threatened to harm them, and when one of his siblings was hit by a car and left without care, it became clear they needed saving and fast.
A compassionate neighbor stepped in and gave them that chance. She loved them dearly, but caring for seven dogs alongside her own was more than one person could manage long-term. And that’s how Chewie found his way to us…safe, but still learning what that really means.
Chewie is something special. He’s a quiet, soulful kind of dog. The kind of dog you don’t notice right away, but somehow can’t stop thinking about once you do. There’s a softness in him, a gentle way of moving through the world, like he’s still figuring out where he fits. He can be a bit timid at first, and he’ll need a patient family willing to let him open up on his own terms. But underneath that initial uncertainty is an incredibly sweet, tender-hearted boy who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved.
Chewie has already started learning the building blocks of home life. He knows sit, down, touch, and is working on his “stay.” He rides beautifully in the car and would make the perfect co-pilot for quiet adventures. He’s crate trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is continuing to grow more confident each day.
He’s done well with both dogs and cats and could thrive with a calm, respectful companion or be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one and only. He’s moderately active but equally happy just being near his people. His ideal day? Sunshine in a yard, a sense of safety, and someone close by who he can quietly lean into.
Because of his sensitive nature and limited exposure, Chewie would do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand how to give him space when he needs it. A home outside of the city would be ideal for this boy as he continues to find his footing in a big world.
Chewie has already come so far. Now he’s just waiting for someone to meet him where he is and show him what it truly means to be home. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. If you’ve been looking for a loyal, gentle companion with the sweetest soul…Chewie is ready for you.

SAGE - SF
AGE: ~ 8 - 12 Months Old
WEIGHT: 37 lbs
BREED: Sunbeam Scout Shepherd
Meet Sage! Sage is a loving, affectionate mixed breed puppy who’s already proven just how resilient a little heart can be. She came into rescue as part of a trio, but after losing one of their siblings to parvo, Sage and her brother Cooper have been holding onto each other—and making the most of their second chance.
And they are living it. Sage and Cooper are the definition of joyful chaos. They can always be found tumbling, wrestling, chasing, and sharing toys from sunup to sundown. Their bond is something special, a reminder that even after a rough start, puppies still choose joy.
Sage is a happy, affectionate girl who loves giving puppy kisses just as much as she loves a good play session followed by a well-earned nap. She walks nicely on leash, though she may need a gentle reminder to keep all four paws on the ground when excitement kicks in. She’s crate trained and just about there with potty training.
Like any adolescent pup, Sage is full of energy and curiosity. She’ll need a home that’s ready to meet both her physical and mental needs. Continued training, structure, and outlets for her energy will all be key in helping her grow into her best self.
She would thrive with a well-matched canine companion who’s just as ready to play and explore as she is. Cats are currently unknown. We think she’d be a wonderful companion to families with children.
Sage has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations and preventatives. She’s sweet, spunky, and full of life and she’s ready to share it with a family who’s all in.

COOPER - NM
AGE: ~ 8 - 12 Months Old
WEIGHT: 37 lbs
BREED: Happy-Go-Lucky Wigglehound
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a goofy, affectionate pup with a heart as big as his personality. Like his sister Sage, he came into rescue as part of a trio, and after the loss of one of their siblings to parvo, Cooper has held tight to the joy of being here and it shows in everything he does.
If there’s fun to be had, Cooper is already in the middle of it.
He and Sage are constant playmates, always tumbling, chasing, and turning the yard into their own little playground. Cooper brings a little extra oomph to the party. He’s equal parts lovable goofball and enthusiastic bulldozer.
While his face may be starting to grow out of that tiny puppy look, his brain is still very much in “big baby” mode. He’s learning his manners and will need continued guidance, patience, and consistency as he grows. Because of his size, energy, and happy, bouncy nature, he’d do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who can handle his enthusiasm.
Cooper is crate trained and almost fully potty trained, and like Sage, he’ll need a family committed to meeting his exercise and enrichment needs so he can thrive. He’d do wonderfully with another playful dog who can match his energy (understand he doesn’t get cues) and help show him the ropes. Cats are unknown and with his boisterous style, he’d likely need a feline who isn’t afraid to set some boundaries.
Cooper is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Cooper is silly, loving, and full of life. He’s the kind of dog who keeps you laughing, keeps you moving, and keeps your heart full. Ready to give Cooper a home?

CHIP - NM
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: 40 lbs
BREED: Braveheart Tri-Paw Shadow Shepherd
Chip is ideally looking for: Suburban home, another dog, dog-savvy kids, a gentle loving family.
Meet Chip! Chip’s story is one that could have gone very differently but somehow, he’s still here soft, loving, and full of quiet resilience. Chip came into rescue as a tiny, 5 lb, 6-week-old puppy alongside his brother Dale, both victims of severe abuse. While Dale is still working through his fears, Chip has found a way to keep his heart open, even after everything he’s been through. He didn’t just come in with broken trust… he came in with broken bones.
Chip’s leg was so severely injured that even after consulting multiple orthopedic surgeons, there was little that could be done short of amputation. The decision was made to leave it as is and Chip adapted in the most incredible way. He runs, he plays, he keeps up with the pack… all on three legs like it’s nothing. To Chip, it’s just life.
And what a life he deserves. Chip is truly one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. Gentle, quiet, and incredibly kind, he has a way of making you slow down and meet him where he is. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and would do best in a home with another confident canine companion to help him feel safe and continue building his confidence.
He loves kids, but because he can still be a bit sensitive (ducking his head at times or submissively peeing when approached) we think a home without very young children would be the best fit. He’s still learning that the world is a safe place, and he’ll need a patient, understanding family who can help him continue that journey.
Chip is food motivated (mealtime is his favorite!), which will be a great tool for building trust and reinforcing positive experiences. He’s mastered the dog door, has had no accidents in foster, He enjoys the simple things in life including soft beds, toys to chew, and time spent playing in the yard.
And at the end of the day? He’ll quietly hop up onto the couch and curl in beside you, just happy to be close. Chip wears his story without bitterness but only strength. He is living proof that even after the worst start, love can still take root.
Chip has been neutered and is up to date on his age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. We've completely fallen for this boy… and we know someone out there will too.

LEIA - SF
AGE: ~ 1.5 Years Old
WEIGHT: 47 lbs
BREED: Golden-Eared Terrier
LEIA'S MUSTS: A suburban home, a canine companion, no young children, a patient and loving family.
Meet Leia! Leia is one-third of a beautiful trio of girls who have already proven how resilient and loving dogs can be. After their owner passed, a family member stepped in to help, but after inheriting six dogs and a house, it became too much. Now Leia is here, ready to leave the past behind and find a home where she can truly shine.
Leia is the softest soul of this trio. She’s just a gentle, hopeful girl who is just beginning to discover what it means to feel safe and loved. Like her sisters, she came from a home where circumstances changed overnight, and while she may be the most timid of the three, her heart is just as full.
Leia takes a little time to come out of her shell, but when she does, it’s something truly special. She’ll look up at you with the sweetest, most searching eyes, like she’s quietly asking if you’re her person, and once she knows she’s safe, she’ll lean in with soft kisses and gentle affection that feels incredibly earned.
She does beautifully with other dogs and would likely gain a lot of confidence from a calm, friendly canine companion. Having always been with her sisters, she finds comfort in that connection and would thrive in a home that can offer patience, reassurance, and a steady routine. Currently, we’re not sure how Leia does with cats. We believe she’d thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children and would likely feel most comfortable in a quieter, more suburban setting where she can settle in and find her footing at her own pace.
Leia is still learning the basics of home life including leash walking, crate training, and structure, but she’s trying, and that effort shines through in everything she does. She’s spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Leia may not be the boldest in the room, but she might just be the one who captures your heart the deepest.

JOLENE - SF
AGE: ~ 1.5 Years Old
WEIGHT: 41 lbs
BREED: Bat-Eared Bandit Terrier
JOLENE'S MUSTS: A suburban home, a canine companion, no young children, a patient and loving family.
Meet Jolene! Jolene is part of a special trio of girls who are getting a second chance after life threw their world off course. When a kind person inherited their aunt’s home and dogs, they did everything they could, but ultimately couldn’t keep them. Now Jolene and her sisters are on their way to brighter days, and ready to make the most of it.
If you’re looking for personality, Jolene’s your girl. This little fruit bat lookalike is the certified mischief maker of the group. She has a knack for snagging one of your belongings and parading around the yard like she just won a prize, daring you to chase her (and honestly…you probably will). Underneath the antics, though, is a deeply affectionate pup who absolutely adores her people once she feels safe.
Jolene thrives with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion to match her energy. She and her sisters share everything. From food, toys, and joy, this beautiful soul will fit right into a home that embraces a rescue who is ready for a fresh start and a lot of love. She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to leash walking, crate training, and overall manners, but she’s smart and eager to engage.
She may need a little time to warm up, but once she does, get ready, Jolene will shower you in kisses and keep you laughing every single day. Jolene has been spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Jolene’s ready to be bolder, a little sillier, and a whole lot of fun right by your side.

RAINBOW RAZZLE - SF
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: 23 lbs
BREED: Arctic Fox Razzle Collie Mix
Meet Rainbow Razzle! This girl lives up to her name…she’s bright, bold, and just a little bit dazzling once you get to know her. Found alongside her sister Frolic on the side of the road and never claimed, Rainbow has had to figure out the world a bit on her own terms. She’s the more confident of the duo, often stepping into the role of protective big sister, keeping a watchful eye on her surroundings and her people.
At first, Rainbow can be a bit cautious, especially with new faces, and may sound the bork alarm when unfamiliar visitors arrive. But give her a little time, and you’ll see her walls come down. Underneath that initial hesitation is a spunky, playful, and incredibly fun girl who just wants to feel safe before letting her personality shine.
.
Rainbow is active, smart, and likely has some working dog instincts in her. She’s going to thrive in a home that can give her both physical exercise and mental enrichment. That means she will constantly need something to do, something to learn, and something to focus on. Her little play pounces, silly zoomies, and mischievous energy are endlessly endearing once she’s comfortable.
can be a bit wary of new people, but give her a few minutes and she'll be wagging her tail and jumping in your lap like it's the only place she wants to be.
Rainbow is still working on all the basics including crate training, leash skills, and house training, but she’s smart and capable with the right guidance. Because of her sensitive nature, a home with older, dog-savvy kids (or adults only) would be the best fit. Rainbow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Rainbow is the kind of dog who, once she chooses you, will be all in.

Because of her sensitive nature, a home with older, dog-savvy kids (or adults only) would be the best fit. Rainbow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Rainbow is the kind of dog who, once she chooses you, will be all in.

FROLIC FIZZ - SF
AGE: ~ 1 Year Old
WEIGHT: 24 lbs
BREED: Snow-Kissed Fox Fizz Shepherd Mix
Meet Frolic Fizz! Frolic Fizz is exactly what her name promises. She’s mixed with a little sparkle, a little silliness, and a whole lot of heart… once you give her a minute to catch up to the party. Found with her sister Rainbow on the side of the road and never claimed, Frolic is the softer, more cautious half of this duo. She takes her time getting to know new people and situations, hanging back to observe before deciding it’s safe to join in.
But oh, when she does Frolic transforms into the most playful, joyful little goofball. Her signature move? Bouncy play pounces and adorable little nibbles that feel more like an invitation to join her fun than anything else. She’s silly, she’s spirited, and she absolutely lights up once she feels comfortable.
Like her sister, Frolic is very intelligent and likely has some working dog in her background. She’s going to need a home that understands her need for both physical activity and mental stimulation as this is not a “set it and forget it” kind of dog. She wants to engage, to learn, and to be part of something.
Frolic can be a bit wary of new people, but give her a few minutes and she'll be wagging her tail and jumping in your lap like it's the only place she wants to be.
She’s currently working on all the basics including crate training, leash skills, and house training and will need a patient, committed home to help her continue growing. Because of her sensitive nature, a quieter home with older, dog-savvy kids (or adults only) would suit her best.
Frolic is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Frolic isn’t the first one to run up to you, but she might be the one who ends up stealing your heart the deepest.

COCO - SF
AGE: ~ 4 Months Old
WEIGHT: 16 lbs
BREED: Island Spice Fluff Shepherd
Meet Coco! Straight from the shores of St. Croix to a brand new life, Coco just arrived with her brother Ziggy. These two little island souls have already seen more change in a few days than most puppies should ever have to process.
Rescued by an incredible team on the ground working tirelessly to save puppies from uncertain futures, these two made the journey stateside in search of something better…safe place, a soft landing, and a family to call their own.
Coco and Ziggy are still taking it all in. New smells. New sounds. New people. New routines. It’s a lot. And while they may look like tiny shepherds, confident and curious, underneath is a pair of sensitive, thoughtful puppies who need time, patience, and understanding to truly feel safe. They are not puppies to be rushed, pushed, or expected to “just adjust.” They will get there, but only with a family willing to meet them where they are.
And once they do? That’s where the magic happens. Because beneath that cautious exterior are sweet, playful, fun-loving babies with just the right amount of island spice. They love to play, explore, and be silly once they’re comfortable and their personalities start to shine in the most rewarding way.
They’ve done well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion to help show them the ropes. They haven’t been cat tested yet. Because of their sensitive nature and all they’ve been through, we think they’d do best in homes with older, dog-savvy kids who understand the importance of giving them space and time.
Coco and Ziggy are already spayed/neutered and ready for their next chapter, but the right home for them is one that understands that rescue isn’t just about bringing a dog home… it’s about helping them feel at home. If you’re patient, gentle, and ready to earn their trust, these two will give you something truly special in return.

RHETT - M
AGE: 3 - 4 Months Old
WEIGHT: 25 lbs
BREED: Neapolitan Chaos Crew
Meet the “R” Pups! This stunning litter of ten didn’t get the start they deserved. They were left on the side of the road with no one coming for them. Thankfully, a kind-hearted man stepped in and brought them to safety. When his landlord required the puppies to leave immediately, he reached out for help and that’s how this beautiful, resilient crew found their way into rescue.
And what a crew they are! Ten puppies, ten personalities, one unforgettable bunch. Some are quiet observers, some are a little shy, and others are full-on life-of-the-party energy, but every single one of them is incredibly loving. A few might fool you into thinking they’ve got some Lab in them, but with their variety of looks, sizes, and features, it’s clear there’s a whole lot of “mystery mix magic” going on here. (We wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more than one dad in the story.)
Despite their chaotic beginning, these pups have been thriving. They’ve lived happily together, are very social, and have done impressively well with house training using dog doors and rarely having accidents inside. They’re smart, adaptable, and eager to learn. But make no mistake…these are puppies.
They are playful, curious, wiggly, and wonderfully chaotic in all the best ways. They love their people, they love to explore, and they’re always ready to tumble into their next adventure. And with that comes the real commitment: raising a puppy means structure, consistency, patience, and training. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
Each one of these “R” pups is a blank slate with the potential to become something truly special. What they need now is a family ready to guide them, grow with them, and give them the stability they’ve been missing.
They’ve all been microchipped, are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and are current on monthly preventatives. If you’re ready for puppy kisses, a little bit of chaos, and a whole lot of love…one of these “R” pups might just be the one you’ve been waiting for.
